BRIEF BIO: Jill Shuman, Principal
Jill is an award-winning writer, editor, and newswriter with more than 25 years experience in a wide array of publishing and communication venues. Since 1995, she's taught the basics of health and nutrition communication at the Tufts University School of Medicine and the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy and received a distinguished faculty award in 2000. Jill is certified as a Registered Dietitian (RD), a Certified CME Professional (CCMEP), an Editor in the Life Sciences (ELS), and is a Fellow of the American Medical Writers Association. In addition to running an active communications business, she frequently lectures about topics associated with the communication of health, medicine, and science. When not working, Jill enjoys travel, cooking, Sudoko puzzles, and real estate renovation. She's well-known for her prodigious reading of both the obituaries and mystery novels, and plan to begin writing her own ‘any day now…..’
